I had a friend, who died a number of years ago. His family owned and sold the current site of Deer Park water. As he observed, "Who could have foreseen...?"

Just in passing, did you know that the water in the drinking fountains at B. Altman came from an underground spring? It was wonderful to taste.

New York City once had the most delicious water in the country. Once upon a time....

There has been talk over the years to divert some of the plentiful water of the Pacific Northwest to California, but fortunately, the idea has met with severe opposition.

It is bad enough we export our electricity.
