Really off topic -- I read this article on judicial manipulation as part of MSFT's antitrust coverage. Since it is something that should concern all members of the society, I am posting the link here. I also like to point out two other things which I found disturbing:

Only 5 out of 12 Appeals judges are "pro-big business" according to the article. And yet 7 out of the 9 judges who've ruled on Microsoft cases have been from this group. The odds are less than 10% and seem too low for a random selection.

Second, that both sides tend to agree about the battle ground is disturbing and a sign of the success of the propaganda. As a wise man pointed out, spotting propaganda in a police society is easy. Everything you read has been originated from the "right" people. But in an open society, propaganda is achieved by leaving out the alternative representation of the facts.

Anyway, like I said, this is really off topic and I don't want to get into any political debates on this thread. I found the site a good on-line magazine (regardless of politics) and have bookmarked it.
