The exclusive was allowing @Home to do business as they saw fit and not allow others to get a free ride. This ruling in essence says the @Home cable is nothing more than a free enterprise. AOL is there by mutual agreement of the two companies. AOL is exclusive to @Home only by terms of the agreement between the two. I'd thought you were saying other Cable firms couldn't do a similar deal. I think I'm clear now. <g>
California's PUC has made some recent rulings which are counter to the FCC rulings...it does make one wonder who is buying whom.
