I doubt we will get any from CeBit so we may have to wait until it comes out, or better yet, Sharky Extreme if they can get one ahead of time.

Speaking of CeBit, here is some news from there - "Harder to spot will be signs of Intel's new 64-bit Merced processor. Last year at CeBIT Intel was promising much for Merced but delivery dates for the processor seem to be slipping badly and it could be CeBIT 2000 before we see real products."

HP and Intel haven't been getting along lately, Sun thinks Merced is dead, Compaq thinks it is showing little signs of life, and Silicon Graphics is going to continue to make MIPS chips. Which big names does that leave? Dell, IBM, ...?
