Mac version of IQChart's real-time software

Good luck with the extra help of RT charts. I'll admit that I'm purely a tryo with this -- still learning much from Jenna and others and still playing with only a very small trading account which means that I mostly just watch and sigh heavily these days.

Installation of IQCharts should be simple. Just click a few times. Once it's running be sure to check out the scan feature. It isn't nearly as sophisticated as the scans Jenna uses but it's a great way to learn more about picking stocks. Using their scans and web info from MarketGuide and others, I've even managed to identify a few stocks, like GAP today, that are good trades. Their "Money-Flow" indicator is nifty.

Mostly, though, I just follow Jenna's watch list. I put each set of calendar picks and each day's watch list into a favorites folder (identfied as "Jenna 3/17", for instance). Tip: Use the organize option at the bottom of the favorites pane, then "New Stock" for each pick. Add them from the bottom up of Jenna's list. That will put them in the correct order in the final list, so you can easily identify something like "today's WL#4".

You can control/right-click on the chart (or use the menu) to change the timeframe. I like to shift from dailies to 60-min, 10-min, and 1-min charts to find confirmations of buy or sell signals among the indicators.

I also put a few of my favorite picks (rather, a few favorites among Jenna's picks) into the Tracker and set alerts for low buy and high sell signals. I initially enter as "purchase price" my target buy point for the stock.
