Tim, Time Domain is even are on to IBM Silicon Geranium chips for their Gaussian Monopoly. I suppose Time Domain are even more dependent on superfast processing power with low energy than CDMA is so SiGe provides the mechanism to make it happen. Just as CDMA in mobile couldn't function effectively until chips were fast enough and small enough to fit into a handset. Maybe George Gilder and his 13,000 scientists can tell us whether this is the dinkum oil. Technology is great. We've been messing around with the old style silicon chips for a decade and here comes Time Domain and they go straight to Silicon Geranium. China will go straight from 18th century peasantry to Silicon Geranium in a single generation. No wonder progress is fast. That's The New Paradigm for you. Mqurice
