Dahmes, Vice President - Quality HOPKINS, Minn., March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovex, Inc. (Nasdaq: INVX - news) today announced the appointment of Brian R. Dahmes to the newly created position of Vice President - Quality. Dahmes, age 38, will be responsible for worldwide quality planning, control and improvement at Innovex and will report directly to William P. Murnane, Innovex's President and Chief Operating Officer. The reorganization of Innovex's quality group involves three fundamental changes: First, dedicated, experienced quality professionals will be given clear areas of responsibility and empowered with direct quality authority over the manufacturing processes. Mr. Dahmes joined Innovex in 1997 as Director of Manufacturing for its high volume flexible circuit operation based in Litchfield, Minn., a position he held until today. Prior to joining Innovex, Mr. Dahmes worked for Sheldahl, Inc. in Longmont, Colo. and Northfield, Minn. in various quality engineering, process engineering and engineering management positions. He has over 16 years' experience manufacturing high-volume flexible printed-circuit products for semiconductor, disk drive and automotive applications. Mr. Dahmes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn., and an MBA degree from the Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota), Minneapolis, Minn. He is a member of the American Society for Quality Control (A.S.Q.C.) where he is a certified Reliability Engineer and a certified Quality Engineer.
