I was going to say, well, one more reason to be happy one has male children. But then I thought, well, what will he think of his mother? I mean, is that a *good* thing or a *bad* thing, that Mom wants a book about farts, but is too shy to buy it, so she asks her adolescent son to buy it for her?

I prefer to pretend that such things don't exist. Kinda like the way I acted when Nick wanted to know what my Ben-Wa balls were for.

Notwithstanding the Beano-level humor, I have only positive
thoughts about Fort Worth. I was there in '97 to see the
Monet exhibit, and everyone I encountered seemed to be fine
folks. The city appeared to be more pleasant and unhurried
than Dallas, Houston and other metropolitan spots in Texas.
And obviously their newspaper has exquisite taste.
