Joey - Re: "these Intel/HP announcements are real announcements, based on real products, which will lead to real earnings for Intel."

At a "minimum" of $900+ per Pentium III XEON, you can be real sure these HP (and NEc and IBM and Toshiba and Dell, etc., etc.) contribute to Intel's BOTTOM line this quarter, next quarter and MANY quarters beyond.

Re: " Cirrulus & Scumbia, being avid AMD investors, can't comprehend this!!! If the article doesn't involve hype, unsubstantiated rumors, anti-Intel sentiment, or the word "potential", they ignore it... "

The won't even believe the "SIGNIFICANT LOSSES" that AMD reports even after the report is issued !

They will seize onto Cherry Sanders' standard remark " Yes, we had a major problem, but it is now fixed. Profits lie ahead "

Of course, Sanders lies all the time !

Joey,

Some INTC trades showed up in after hours as high as $122, which was also the last trade at 16:29:27. What was that selloff in the last ten minutes or so, one institution dumping?
