Charles- There are jails for crooked people so what's wrong
with jails for crooked companies. This good for the country
makes me puke. Milken went up the river and he did a lot of
good for the country too. Bill doesn't go to jail he just
loses the keys to the car. That's what judges are paid to
do isn't it Gerry?

Charles,

Do you remember the Microsoft predator products: Viper, Falcon, and Wolfpack. These products were aimed at extending Microsoft NT from a simple file and print server to a more robust application server.

Viper, (aka) Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS), was supposed to emerge as a general server environment for ActiveX components.

Falcon, or the Microsoft Message Queue Server (MSMQ), is Microsoft's answer to reliable messaging between applications.

Finally, Wolfpack is a NT-based clustering technology aimed at improved availability, manageability, and scalability. Combined, these services — COM, DCOM, OLE, and ActiveX — form Microsoft's recently coined Distributed interNet Architecture (DNA).

I haven't heard much more about this stuff ever since the trial started. Is it included in the Windows 2000 release? Do you know what is going on with their application server technology?
