TJ,

So now both Dell and the whole market are going to fall.

...and the 30 year bond will hit 5.75%!

Geez, you must be a professional economist! :-)))

I guess to support your other claims:

inflation is going to rise from less than 2% to more than 8%;
that unemployment will fall to 3% to support some inflation;
capacity utilization will go to 89% from 80.3%;
there will be a budget deficit in excess of $150B;
exports will drop to zero;
imports will rise to match the GNP;
...

In other words, did you ever stop to consider that maybe, just maybe, the market might be right about some things some of the time?

That perhaps the Internet might just continue to grow;
that perhaps Dell might continue to play a major role in that growth;
that Dell's growth rate deserves a premium relative to its peers;
that Dell's ROIC deserves another premium relative to its peers;

and the biggest leap of all,

that maybe, just maybe, you could be wrong. ;-)

Ian.

Thomas - I first want to thank Ian and Venkie for there great posts in contrast to your dribble. You think Dell's going lower and I make know bones about it that I believe its going higher. While I don't believe it's growth (earnings) will decline below 50% over the next 4q, lets say for the hypothetical that it goes to ....45% (10 percent decrease). Name me..please ....a Co that's growing like that q after q, and has real revenues and earnings. Gold? Oil? Banking? Consumer Cyc? Internet? You'll be hard pressed. Here's a tip (Free, no charge. Do like I do, and a whole bunch of others.....

Buy a S***pot of DELL and write calls while the big boys are trying to get their shares cheap. Roll or stop a month before earnings. Watch her raise. Repeat. Even you could do this. Anyways its easier than shorting using 401K funds. And as safe as phone sex (I'm guessing)....but much more satisfying.

I TOLD YOU! Don't ignore the PIG! If you would only follow the PIGMAN,,,You would know when a chart of this high a profile (DELL) was in the process of breaking down. Yes one of the few in the entire market spotting this... Let me reflect on my reminder in my next post.... "The Truth is out there"....as Fox Mulder puts it.
