Tech,

I think that the the big boys and momentum players will try their best to put a lid over the price of MSFT for the option expiration. They want to more the most $$$ in the shortest period of time, which means that they will want the price of MSFT to spike in the last week, or days before the split. If MSFT closes at, say, 175, this Friday, it will only run up 5-10 points for next week...I don't think it's the case. I still see a 170 close this Friday. Next Monday, gap up a bit, and the MM taking the issue down to shake off the last batch of weak hands, and then we get ready for a 15 point move into the split.
