Dell Quality?

I wouldn't place much significance on the fact that someone has had a bad experience with dell and a good experience with cpq. The fact remains that there are plenty of examples that are reversed. In the final analysis every boxmaker will have a certain percentage of their product line that drops off the quality control table. And at the end of the day I challenge anyone to demonstrate (using a statistically sound sample size) that dell is better than cpq or vice versa.

Question? Does anyone know when the book to bill ratio for semiconductors is supposed to be released tomorrow? Thanks for your info.

Has INTC warned about earnings? Are earnings due in about a month? Someone suggested that if INTC is going to warn, they'll warn about one month prior to earnings announcement.

If they don't warn, and we can assume there will be no "surprises" in earnings, shouldn't INTC be soaring? FTC OK'd agreement, stock spilt, new products, etc. What gives with the $120 price?

Anyone?
