Mr. Pink --SBTK

I trust your pick 100%; however, it will be great if you can post some main reasons why you give it such a rating?

Or could it be:
17% increase in sales, vs. 175% loss in income;
or
Class action brought by MWBH&L LLP
or
reserves fro Rocap inventories
or
are there too many erasable pens in accounting?

Mr. Pink:

Just in case you were not aware of it SBTK has an agreement with RACE whereby they might, possibly, perhaps, perchance, no guarantees now, buy $3.0 million of RACE's BT product for inclusion in their "virtual hospital room" thingie.

One really does have to wonder about companies that enter into cheesy, PR fluff deals with anyone on Liviakis' client roster.

DATA RACE Announces Be There!(R)
Government-Wide Acquisition Contract

SAN ANTONIO, March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- DATA RACE (Nasdaq: RACE - news) announced today the addition of Be There! products to the GWAC (Government-Wide Acquisition Contract) agreement through Soza International, which specializes in reselling communications products and services to the U. S. Government. Through the GWAC contract, U. S. Government agencies now have a purchasing vehicle for deployment of the Be There! Remote Access System, which allows executives and
employees to productively work from the home, airport lounge, hotel, emergency location, or anywhere there is an analog phone line.
Be There! provides business quality voice, data, and fax
simultaneously over a single telephone line. ''We look forward to greater access to the U. S. Government market through this GWAC contract,'' stated George Bennett, Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing for DATA RACE.

In related news, DATA RACE also announced the sale of its flagship Be There! product to an agency of the U. S. Government. The sale was for a pilot test system, and the Company declined to identify the agency involved and the application. ''If this system pilot test is successful, there is opportunity for a significant roll-out of Be There! systems,'' George Bennett also commented.

The Be There! Remote Access System makes it possible for remote workers to simultaneously make and receive phone calls, e-mails, and faxes, as well as browse the Internet -- all over a single analog
phone line. With DATA RACE's patented Telepresence(TM), calls placed to the remote worker's office telephone ring immediately at the PC, without the caller knowing that the Be There! user is working remotely. With this unique technology, remote workers are as productive and accessible from home, a hotel room, airport lounge, or customer location as in the corporate office.

Mr. Pink,

As a former SBTK shareholder, who followed them pre-IPO, and sold when I thought they were fully valued in the $30s, I respectfully disagree with your call on SBTK. Their concept of a "virtual hospital room", enabling more people to spend time at home rather then in a hospital, is a good one, and they have rolled out an innovative infusion pump, with more products to come. They have long-term contracts to supply these pumps, and sales are strong.

Their problem with Rocap appears to me a case of being caught in bureaucratic limbo, with the FDA basically screwing them over. I don't know enough about FDA procedures to be able to predict a resolution to that matter, but it appears it will be resolved at some point.

SBTK has nearly $6 per share of cash and no debt. There is a substantial short interest, so there must be something that other shortsellers see in this company, but $6 per share of cash is what I see.

Mr. Pink I would like His opinion on ASI.

They are a small insurance company with a spotless balance sheet (although your forensic accounting genius will have to concur). Their assets are very clean, and they are making a bunch of money, but controlling growth.

They are also pretty small. Maybe off your radar. Market cap only a little over $100MM.

I bought today because at trading at 8 1/8 vs book value of 9.75. And they have last years fully diluted earnings of $1.08. I figured even if you discounted assets by 10% it was like I was getting $1.08 for every $1 I spent on stock.

I know the insurance sector is out of favor, but I have seen these guys in action (that's what made me start tracking them) and they do a very good job. They are interested in making money not just schlepping insurance and letting the losses fall where they may.

Just don't know if it is a good trade. The stock is absolutely dead.

I would appreciate the favor of His opinion on this. I just can't figure out why I was able to make it. Everything seems so overvalued these days.
