Alden...they did the same with XMCM....When Robertson Stephens is not a lead underwriter Etrade gets only some last minute crumbs to divy out.

Not even 20 minutes. Also, even if you get to fill out the indication of interest, you still will probably get 0 shares. Unless you were in the 1st couple minutes.

I wonder how many shares they actually have. Wit Capital is also offering iVillage. They let you indicate interest much earlier, not like the Etrade Pearl Harbor posts.

Huge demand is how it could only be open for a little while. And don't forget that between E*Trade and DLJ they are covering about 40% of all the on-line brokerage business.
