Thanks for that graph.

A similar situation pertains by observing the no-show in the Russell 2000 as compared to the market favorites and also the downtrend in the Advance Decline line. It is clear that the "market" is getting smaller ie involving fewer stocks and also more vulnerable. Looks to me like cash has been leaving the second-liners and going into the favorites.

I was, however, talking about gold/gold shares which could, although not necessarily so, run counter-cyclically to the rest of the market.

Apropos the overpricedness of the equity market, I am impressed with the Barnes indicator.
