Ware, President and Chief Executive Officer, has more than 30 years experience in the global automotive industry. During his 20-year tenure at AlliedSignal's Garrett Automotive Group, Mr. Ware's engineering work proved the feasibility of turbocharging passenger cars. Most recently, he was Sr. Vice President and Corporate Officer of Detroit Diesel Corporation, one of the Penske companies.
Dr. Peter Hofbauer, General Manager of Technology for Turbodyne, is internationally accredited and the father and innovator of high-speed diesel passenger car engines. He is the past Director of Engine and Powertrain Development at Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg, Germany, where he was responsible for the design, development and manufacturing release of the lineup of Volkswagen and Audi engines, as well as Volvo diesels. Several major manufacturers worldwide have adapted Dr. Hofbauer's designs. In conjunction with the Propulsion Research Institute, he is in the process of designing the next generation of engines, made possible by using Turbodyne technology. This effort is in cooperation with major automakers and governmental agencies, with the objective of creating an auto engine that gets 80 miles-per-gallon.
Dr. William Woollenweber is Executive Vice President in charge of mechanical design and Chief Engineer of the Dynachargerâ„¢ program. The founder of modern turbocharger technology, Dr. Woollenweber is a veteran executive and engineer in the international turbocharger and diesel engine industries. He is a past Executive Director of Cummins Engine Company, past Vice President and General Manager of the Holset Corporation, a U.S. subsidiary of Cummins, and a past Vice President of the Schwitzer Corporation, a major manufacturer of turbochargers. Dr. Woollenweber's turbocharger designs have been licensed worldwide and one design is on display at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C.
Duane Rosenheim, COO, is a veteran of General Motors' Delco Systems Division. In his last position at Delco, he was responsible for the overall commercialization of electronic products into fullscale production and all aspects of manufacturing.
Mr. Delf is a veteran of Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg, Germany and Volkswagen America. The last position he held at Volkswagen was as Chief Engineer for Powertrain and Emissions of Volkswagen America. His responsibilities with Volkswagen America included product engineering for gasoline and diesel engines, manual and automotive transmissions, and engine and transmission controls.
Prior to his position as Chief Engineer, he was Manager for United States Emission Certification in Wolfsburg, Germany and Principal Engineer for electronic fuel injection and emission controls. As a member of Volkswagen's management, Mr. Delf was responsible for engineering management and strategic product planning with respect to vehicle performance, emissions, fuel economy and driveability. At the same time, he was instrumental in demonstrating the mass production feasibility for advanced engine, and powertrain management systems.
In addition to his responsibilities with Volkswagen, being a leader in the international automotive fraternity, Mr. Delf has been an advisor to the United States National Research Council on Combustion Engine Technology and Energy Utilization. Mr. Delf has also served, with distinction, as a member of the Motor Vehicle Council of the Society of Automotive Engineers. He has also been an expert testimony advisor for the United States Senate, the California Energy Commission, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, and the California Air Resources Board, on proposed emissions and fuel economy regulations, as well as advanced engine technologies.

Mr. Wendell R. Anderson a director of Turbodyne. Mr. Anderson received his Doctor of Law Degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1960. He has been in private practice since 1963 and is presently an attorney with the firm of Larkin, Hoffman, Daly & Lindgren, Ltd. of Bloomington, Minnesota.
Mr. Anderson has held several positions of public office. From 1959 to 1963 he was a State Representative for Minnesota and served as State Senator from 1963 to 1971. In 1971 Mr. Anderson was elected as Governor of the State of Minnesota. At that time he was the nation's youngest governor. In 1977 Mr. Anderson became a United States Senator from the State of Minnesota. During his term he served on such committees as the Environment and Public Works Commission, Budget Committee, Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and Armed Services Committee |
