Funny, I thought you were referring to the K7 design as more of a grad-school project than a "major turning point in computer history."

That's quite a stretch of credibility - when AMD has not had even one PC/Server manufacturer come out and claim they will support the K7.

That could mean that the K7 "turns out" to be the finale for AMD as they slip into receivership.
