Yes David, I was able to log on, and access today's hotline message. I really do wonder if they read all the comments posted on this thread back when the great "fax and email" service came out... I was unequivocal in my disgust at them "saving" us so much money, when putting them on the web would cost them and us ZIP. Looks like the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Now if they can just get some stock chat room going on the site, I'll be a really happy camper. DWB

I've noticed that on the pages that are protected by the PIN, I have to enter the PIN twice before it will let me in. On the first try it always tells me the page doesn't exist. On the next try I get in. JTW

Hi, David: I have tried but have not been able to get a response from xoom.com. I suspect that by the time you read this response, you will already have received an email from xoom.com. In my case, it took xoom.com a day to respond to my registration request whereas most similar registration processes are virtually instantaneous. I have to say that the site is everything I could have hoped for and is aesthetically pleasing to boot. Well worth the wait and, as Daniel Barineau pointed out, free to subscribers possibly as a result of the howls of outrage at the suggestion of an additional charge. Regards, Wolf
