Thin Doc, Thanx for the work. You're right though, the MACD scan isn't too exciting today. I don't much care for MCCRK. WFMI could get a dead cat bounce here but, that game is beyond my skill. INTC didn't look to bad to me but it's a bit pricy for me to play. PZZA had a good day today but I think it's a head fake, either because I don't like the technicals or I don't like their food. Not sure which :) BNYN chart looks like it could be a real breakout but that company has caused me to much grief to try to make any money off them on the long side. FCCN looks pretty interesting, especially if it can get (and stay) over that trendline thru the highs on 7/21 and 2/4. Looks like it might have enough oomph to do it. Oomph is a TA term isn't it? CVC did have a nice break out but it's looking a bit overextended to me. I think IBD's MFNX might be the best bet but if I thought CVC was over extended... MFNX did just run from 9 to 50 in only 5 months, awful hard to imagine that continuing, despite what the chart looks like. Oh, well. The Pac rim is down big and crude futures are up again. Maybe it'll be a good day for the OSX. Thanx again for scaring up all those tickers. Alski

Thin Doc, Thean, et al. Doc did breakouts yesterday; I've got one for today, sort of. Y'all might want to have a look at USPL. I haven't studied it much yet but I'm seeing some interesting stuff in the chart and the technicals. They announced 98 earnings today, but it was during hours so maybe if this one sells on the news the selling's already done? biz.yahoo.com If you've never heard of this company before then now you know as much about it at as I do. Do your own DD. Some techno-babel: It broached it's all time high today (for a while before the press) with good volume. Mid and short term CCI and RSI breaking out (CCIs are doing a nice ihs break out). Nice MACD crossover in positive territory. Mid-term stochs look very strong. About the only weakness I see is in the real short-term stochs and they could turn real strong real fast with a big day Friday or Monday. Seems fair enough; that it might need a day or two to store up some energy to bust above an all time high without looking back. Looks to me like it might have a go at it though. FWIW...Alski
