Can anyone suggest a manual, guidebook, or something on how to use the MS programming language? Without any prior experience in programming I'm stuck at the most basic level. I can use some statements/routines that I've basically duplicated from the MS manual or the routines included in the program but I'd sure like to be able to create some of my own routines from scratch. If there's not any guidebooks available for MS specifically (that's more useful than the manual), how about a basic text on similar programming, if there is such a thing, so I can learn syntax, etc., for stringing statements together. It's quite frustrating to see programs here and other places but not be able to follow them because I don't know the basics...reminds me too much of how I felt in French classes once upon a time(g). ANY suggestions appreciated, for sure. Merci beaucoup!!!
