I was also sleeping in the room at the time. After 14 years of hating the wallpaper I just started tearing it down. I painted the ceiling and three walls, wife was to pick out the paper. After spending a whole weekend shopping for paper the wife said none existed that would look right. Next day I went to Walmart, bought some paper and put it up. Wife thought it looked perfect. I know, women are better at colors. Except my wife, that is. I let her pick the color for the exterior of the house. Bought ten gallons and started. I painted 1/2 of one wall and stepped back. Ick. Wife took one look and told me to go get something different, my choice.
