it's the wide spread (discount) that should concern you as i am told it is a prime indicator of confidence in the deal going through. the reported dissatisfaction of other cable companies with athm's alleged proposal for cable coalition has got to be at the center, and that has to be $$$ and the issue of each cable co's autonomy to choose an open content architecture to capture more eyeballs .vs a closed one limited to xcit's eyeballs.

you have expressed a pro-xcit/merger opinion and as an xcit user by choice, i hope your right. but frankly, the discount and news reports suggest otherwise, and that is fact not opinion. I suspect the outcome of the USA<CMGI>LCOS deal and the relative market caps at the time may prove the deciding factors.
