ICO won't be for real for long! They should check the barometer and back off. This town ain't big enough for three of us.

I suppose they can offer cheaper minutes than Iridium together with global coverage, which Globalstar won't offer initially, but I doubt it is going to be enough to pay for the system before Globalstar is onto Constellation3 and prices are LOW.

I bet that the self-perpetuating government body running it will be more interested in next years pay cheques than return to shareholders so they'll fire the rockets and taxpayers money into space, bank their cheques and look for a new job in 3 years when the money stops rolling in.

For the sort of shambles to expect, check out the EU resignations. These are not people operating for the public good.

Hopefully bankers will see the light and protect their money by not lending it. We've had the savings and loans mess, the NZ speculative property crash of 1987, the Asian Tigers debt-funded wishful thinking went bust taking the Japanese financiers and taxpayers with it. We watched Eurotunnel drill deep into shareholders' wallet and financiers eat dirt. Now we are seeing "The Next Big Thing". Up goes the cry; "ALL ABOARD" and $$billions are hurled into space.

Well, the warning is now writ large in the sky, with Iridium flashing the warning as the reflective surfaces shine the sun brightly down to earth.

Let's hope ICO sees sense.
