Well maybe its not making much now but it could make money if the factors you cited were alleviated. -g- I think that about sums up the argument.

It would mean they have better nitride cells and contacts than everyone; at .18 but not at .21um and the bad yields they have had. Again; it is not how many wafers you start, nor is how good your probe yield is IT IS HOW MANY PARTS MAKE IT THROUGH TEST AND OUT THE DOOR! If 15% of your line is.18um parts what is their FINAL functional test yields? Also what is the fully loaded cost of those parts. If it comes out to $10.00 per part you are losing money -- period. So stating they have completed the "updates" to run the .18 means to me they have now just completed the "updates" to run the .21um -- one in the same. what Do you think Earlie? Make sense?
