The heavens have parted Peter. We have broken 10, this time in the right direction :).

I'm really not in contact much with management here Peter - they had the courtesy to send me some e-mails a while back but nothing significant. Sort of like - we are here, we will analyze problems, and we will have a plan - but nothing specific.

For grins, you might listen to my interview with biotech guru Jim McCamant of the Medical Technology Letter at audioinvestor.com - he thinks the sector will pop back, and mentions the acquisitions by Elan, the majority owner here if they execute their options/warrants, when we discuss consolidation in the industry and valuations. He is an interesting guy - the write up is also on SI's homepage at techstocks.com FWIW

Be warned, I'm no Louis Rukeyser :}

Joe

elan deal

this is another solid step in ethicals rejuvination.
it verifies the strategy of being able to inexpensively secure orphaned drugs and technologies from elan (and other companies in the future).

these drugs are too small for the larger companies to bother with, but can be very meaningful/profitable to ethical -- my guestimate is that the recent elan portfolio has $50 -100 million in annual sales potential

more announcements should follow
