I am sorry Mark..I knew what you meant..I guess I was on my own agenda..A lot of this market I think is fueled by people's funding their retirement funds..so I don't think that is leveraged..also a lot of these internet stocks probably can't be bought on margin or shorted..also the universe of stocks currently participating in this blow off stage is quite small so I don't think that many people are seeing their mutual funds going up..who knows..
intuitively..even though there is a massive amount of retirement money continually flowing into the market..the ability of a few to hedge a hugemongeous(sp)amount to me has a lot more power than a huge amount of people scattering their money into their retirement funds..if a very few can massively leverage in one direction..there is no hope..
I guess the point I was making was that if so little money can control so very much and then get bailed out..and I haven't read anything to prevent that from happening again..also the lowering of gold borrowing rates etc last week suggests that the system for a "few" is blooming
