Neal, the premiums for out of the money RFMD calls are very tempting. But I am staying away from writing any covered calls. My experience with covered calls is that it really only pays off in stocks that are going sideways.

I am planning on sticking with a core position in RFMD for the long haul, and trade a small position to exploit the volatility.

The demand for wireless applications is booming and RFMD is in the midst of it.

nealm, I was a buyer of the stock at 10 and 12. I sold too early also, but when the stock hit 50, we didn't know all the good news that was coming. At that time, it seemed very, very pricey. My only mistake was selling out of my entire position and not keeping some "house" money/stock. A valuable lesson learned, especially when you look at the cost of buying back in!
