From Briefing.com

09:07 ET Egghead.Com (EGGS) 16 15/16: U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray initiates coverage of issue with a "strong buy" rating and 12-month target of $28. Briefing.com found it unusual that over the past few days several top firms have initiated coverage of a company that previously no leading investment banks would touch. But a closer look reveals that each of the firms starting coverage also happened to participate in a 5 mln share secondary offering the company priced last week.

LOL!

I took a major hit on OMGA, the MM seem to manipulate the price with ease, any time the stock starts to drop, orders come in to support it of 100 shares only, I watched it yesterday with a bid down of just 1/8 that sat for 15minutes this was for 1000 shares. That would have been two down ticks in a row, this was during the lunch hour. Yahoo board has some pycho longs, that post some fairly violent wishings for shorts.

Is there anyway to evaluate the MM before entering into a short?

Bottomline, is that this something is strange about this stock, it kicked my butt good. The MM I simply don't trust. Unless you are a Pro and very confindent of your own DD, and are very confident of those risks, I recommend that you stay away from OMGA. Bottomline again, the are simply better ones to go after.

PS now that I post this message, the stock will likely freefall back to 3.
