WOw, that certainly sounds like a heck of a game. Let's just hope when the Huskies knock off the Terps this year it's a little less painful for Maryland fans (gg).

Thanks for posting that, although it probably was painful.

As an "old" baby boomer....I'm not willing to say with absolute certainty, BUT, it's my feeling that college and pro basketball peaked in the mid 60's to late 70's and the skill level has decreased since. Individual player(s) aside...Michael J.

I still have vivid memories of watching that game and the heartbreak if knowing we had the second best team in the country yet we had to play in the NIT.
