Remember, this guy swings for the fences. He is the type of person who puts 5 grand on Duke in the tournament but also puts 100 on Gonzaga at 1000-1. Either way he makes some coin but looks like a friggin genius if Gonzaga wins.

If Piper-Jaffery is just using this guy, who they know is full of garbage, to create buying opportunities [or because they are short], maybe the SEC should put them on their list of individuals and brokerage companies [the online ones].

Disgruntled shareholders get hold of a law firm to launch class actions against companies [i.e. Compaq a few days ago]. Is there a channel for companies and shareholders to seek redress if an analyst with or without the knowledge of his employer intentionally puts out off-the-wall information to manipulate the price of a stock?

I'm not saying this is necessarily the case here, but...
