  PEAKSOFT MULTINET AND NOVELL ANNOUNCE CO-MARKETING ALLIANCE FOR SMALL BUSINESS MARKET
  BELLINGHAM, WA, March 29, 1999 - PeakSoft Multinet Corp. (ASE:PKS; OTC-BB:PEAMF) and Novell, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVL) jointly announced today the formation of a co-marketing alliance to provide superior software and Internet solutions to the small business market.   The alliance combines the two companies' software products and services to provide unique synergistic solutions and marketing opportunities specifically geared toward targeted vertical markets.
  Through the alliance, Novell's worldwide business customers will  have access to new, productivity-enhancing software solutions created  by PeakSoft Multinet.  In turn, PeakSoft Multinet will gain access to  Novell's worldwide partners (VARs), customers and other marketing  channels to enhance the introduction of its new solutions to targeted  markets and rapidly increase sales.
  PeakSoft Multinet and Novell recognize companies in the legal industry, real estate industry, travel industry and other businesses are poised to benefit highly from the use of intranets and extranets.  Accordingly, Novell's Netware for Small Business Product (NWSB), which installs a network of integrated applications designed specifically for small businesses, and PeakSoft Multinet's PeakTrack Business Series, which provides internet and intranet knowledge management solutions for vertical markets, will be marketed in conjunction to provide users with a powerful set of software and services to fill the unique needs of small businesses.  The new marketing initiative is aimed at capturing increased market share and penetrating new vertical markets.

  PeakSoft Multinet will adopt and support the Novell platform and seek  to optimize its PeakTrack Business Series as "Best of Novell"  solutions to be consistent with the NetWare standards. It will  specifically support and enhance Novell's Border Manager, GroupWise,  Novell Licensing Services (NLS), JAVA and Novell Directory Services  (NDS).  Further, PeakSoft is introducing the "PeakJet 2000 for  Novell", a customized version of its #1 selling browser accelerator,  for Novell's customers. It will include a unique Novell icon.       PeakSoft may participate in a variety of other marketing methods  including Novell's newsletter, partner CDs, web marketing, tradeshows  and other partner activities. PeakSoft and Novell will explore other  areas to expand their collaboration and provide advanced solutions  for both companies' clients.
   NetWare for Small Business 4.2 is available to Novell customers  worldwide.  The product is designed to make network administration  simple for customers with minimal networking experience by having  automatic installation and tools for improved network manageability.  In addition, the product enables small companies to more effectively compete by conducting business on the Internet through several new Web-based technologies. NetWare for Small Business 4.2 is a cost-effective solution since it has a licensing scheme that allows businesses to add up to 50 users, one by one, if needed.     The PeakTrack Business Series, which will be available in Q2 1999, is designed to provide small businesses with up to 50% faster internet access and knowledge management services for the Internet/Intranet.  The series will include software packages tailored to the unique needs of specific vertical industries, such as law, real estate, travel and small businesses.  The PeakTrack Business Series also allows for data collaboration and information sharing both within the network and over the internet and includes solutions for e-commerce.
