John and all --

Any idea as to what is happening with our favorite POS? It was looking mighty strong, and then BOOM! It fell like a rock to the high $52's . . .

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

The spike starting at 2:00 (yah I see the much-bigger 2:15 spike down in $RUT) says to me that they're going for DJII 10K for real this time. Probably gonna wait till tomorrow to hit it again, but they'll close it above there this time. IMO, etc.

Lots of the $SOX, including INTC and MU, are either just sitting and waving goodbye or just contemplating the fuzz in their navels. (AMD, KLAC). Let's see what happens at 3 pm, probably another buy program for the benefit of the specialists and market makers who were still asleep from boredom at 2:00.

DAMMIT! I sold short those March 60 puts about 12:45. Let's go, SOX!

If DeNiles doesn't come out with his tout tonite, I'm gonna have to give Goodwill the "Dan Niles is my B**ch!" T-shirt I had made up the night we were at 48/49. Oh well!

MU earnings Tuesday after the close, per CNNfn:

cnnfn.com

(MUEI will indeed be Monday after the close, as we have been thinking.)

Another earnings calendar:

cbs.marketwatch.com

(It really is a pretty good site, it's just that the reporting stinks!)
