John: Ahhh now I see what you're saying, and I agree 100% The AR-15 is a sweet piece of hardware. As only a very casual target shooter though, I can't justify buying one. They're kinda spendy! How much do they cost nowdays? Did you buy one? I make do with a few of those SKS 7.62x39s. Two by Norinco, one by a Russian mfr. The Russian has a factory bayonet, which folds down neatly into the underside of the wood stock. A curiosity piece for sure. And if it wasn't made that way at the factory in Russia, it would be illegal to own here in the US!
