A couple decent articles in Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities this month (April) ... "Rules To Trade By" describes 15 rules for traders and there's also an interview with Van Tharp that talks about the search for the Holy Grail being an inner search of ones self. I think there is an abstract of each article at their web site:

April 1999 Money Magazine.. On the Cover it says: Investing Online Inside is Tokyo Joe Park.. Smokin' Joe They are talking about the entreperneurs who run electronic cottage business out of their homes: direct quote: .. among the more reputable and influential is Barbara Simon, a 38 year old graphic designer in Boca Raton, Fla. [thats me] who began posting on Silicon Investor a few years under the handle (Jenna). Simon then launced a Website (www.marketgems.com) and subscription e-mail tips service. [ed. comment Another longer article is coming out later this month as an insert (OnLine Access) in the Sunday newspaper. ...]

....the article is really about Tokyo Mex and in the end he says: a year ago, he says, he had $20,000 in the market. Now he is up more than $1.6 million. Life is good, and Park is feeling expansive.

[ed. comment Well without all the fanfare, I should up with $1.6mil by the end of 2000 or first quarter 2001 (not just from Market Gems but from personal trading)Granted I started with much more than $20,000 closer to $125,000 in trading portfolio alone, (not including long term portfolio) but still it was a fine. We do not plan to merger with anyone or 'court' Ragin bull or whomever. We do plan to close entry at 2,000 subscribers so our stocks don't become diluted.

Right now after only 1 1/2 years it's more than 65% of that $1.6 million and sales from Market Gems should be middle to upper 6 figures between 7/98 and 7/99 and in the low 7 figures by 2000-2001. We just don't make the 'noise' that others make or generate any of the controversy......]
