But now that they are all being acquired, this premise will never be tested in the market. Portal revenues will be buried within the earnings reports of larger companies. Every stockholder in a portal being acquired should consider themselves lucky. They are being paid in full without having to fulfill the promise of future revenues. That task will be left to the acquiring companies.
