EACarl,

it is hard to determine if this drop in revenue is company specific or/and industry specific. ATRM had some cancelations in orders from their major customers, that hurt them big time. COHU's major customers are INTC, MU, MOT. as long as those big 3 doesnt cancel any orders, we will do okay. ESIO reported today with decent numbers, increasing backlog too.

i dont expect COHU to report block busting numbers though. COHU is IC volume driven, less innovation drive unlike TER, which explains some of the discrepancy in stock prices. i am expecting flat or slightly higher revenue and backlog for COHU. still plenty of capacity out there. just my 2 cents.

"Bookings so far this quarter have been disappointing, in spite of an increase in quotation activity."

To me this sounds like they are losing market share...hopefully to COHU!
