INTC and especially, MOT, had invested in BCST well over a year ago and have recently lightened their positions. INTC not pursuing an Internet media empire strategy, but loves the VC business (apparently $1.5B worth of investments).

So many potential suitors for BCST you can play parlor games with the permutations and combinations. As I've said, it would be stunning and poetically just if Cuban hung in there and stayed independent. Key is YHOO, who may have a right of first refusal pursuant to its modest investment in BCST (then, AudioNet, in January, 1998).
