Have you seen FDX lately.. A side effect of internet shopping I would say. I think they will profit dearly. I'm adding it to my watch list.

The number of U.S. adults doing their holiday shopping on
the Internet more than doubled last December from a year earlier,
according to a survey from Ziff-Davis Inc.'s ZDNet Internet unit.
Consumers who either purchased or gathered information on holiday
gifts from Oct. 1 to Dec. 16 rose to 19.8 million from 8.3
million, according to the study.

Online holiday gift spending is expected to more than triple
to $13.7 billion this year from $4.1 billion last year, according
to Ziff-Davis. About 7.8 million people shopped online during the
1998 holiday season, spending an average of $526 each on gifts,
the study found.
'People are shipping more small packages,' FDX will most likely benefit.
