DJBEINO, thanks for all the articles you post! The UMC price increase, and hopefully USC too, is probably due to the 15-20% wafer price hikes implemented by many of the fabs earlier this year.(per your articles!) I DO want ALSC to get to breakeven ASAP so their investments will go to the bottom line, NOT to operating expenses. We saw some improve- ment, smaller loss, last qtr and they should strive to get back to BE without any accounting tricks. From Breakeven they should be able start making money with even small successes.
