Wolff, I don't think any groceries are going to close down becasue of the online/CDC model, but that doesn't mean that a significant # of people/families will not choose to shop the POD & spend their weekends doing better things. No person long the POD would ever suggest we will put supermarkets out of business, instead this is a natural e-volution of the way people live & spend limited resources, ie...time, in the era of the internet. I don't understand why many people refuse to see how basically the internet can change the way we live, even in our own neighborhoods. E-commerce is not only for bidding on beanie babies or computer crud from afar, it will touch each of our lives in a direct manner, & in our own neighborhoods. Additionally, as Peapod establishes an outstanding brand identity & market leadership they will only become a more desirable takeover target. Peapod's business has a significant barrier to entry compared to any other e-commerce model I have seen, & will eventually be valued accordingly. Regis
