Anybody know why the calendar is so different? thr 007 gasoline-price hike new gasoline prices effective march 21 tehran, march 18, irna -- the new oil products prices for the domestic market would go into effect on the first day of the year 1378 (march 21), the president of iran's oil products distribution company, babaie, said here on thursday. according to the year 1378 budget, approved by majlis, the price of gasoline will increase to rls 350 per liter, kerosene to rls 100, gasoil to rls 100 and fuel oil to rls 50 per liter. in an interview with irna, babaie further stated that the country had to import four million liters of gasoline on daily basis in the year 1377 to address the domestic demands. he highlighted the importance of people's cooperation with the government to check the ballooning consumption of gasoline in the country. mr/mr end ::irna 18/03/99 12:54
