PGO vs VTS. Two things too consider about PGO. First, their Ramform design ships make them the most efficient for collecting large scale offshore 3/4D data, giving them a huge multi client data base. And second, their Ramforms are being deployed as FPSOs, one just went into production a couple of weeks ago, processing around 50,000 bbls per day, with capacity of 90,000. A second will go into production I believe within a month. They project that the production business will go into 50% of their earnings. My point is that they are no longer just limited to being a seismograph company. In addition they provide total offshore production management services. So they do not really compare on the same basis as VTS.

VTS/PGO ; buying on the downgrade is the window of opportunity...

PGO's downgraded eps is still - 3 times VTS's for 1999 ???? !!!!
PGO is going into the FPSO business - big in offshore AFRICA - the hot growth spot.... and is all deepwater ! and they are still the same price ??????? you tell me which one is the buy ?

Buy on the downgrades (PGO) - sell on the 50% ''pops'' (VTS) !

...someday Lingerfelt you'll learn <VBG> ...........I'm not trying to rain on your parade. People don't need to be ''traders'' - but when you get 50% pops and outrun common sense - take advantage of it - this was a ton of short covering - the buying support is NOT here at $15 presently (it will be someday - so no problem longterm of course - but why not take candy from a baby?) I love VTS - it is a longterm no brainer ''value/asset'' play - It is on my top 5-7 longterm hold list fwiw. But, - being logical and not emotional - sell the damn thing today-tomorrow and rebuy it for $12 5/8ths by next wednesday !

C'Mon Lingerfelt - quit taking your stocks so personally - you're starting to remind me of someone <VBG>.......
I love VTS - I own a VTS baseball hat - wear it all the time - there; feel better ?

...anyone buy E&P CWEI on the dip ? - here comes $5 for a 40-50% 3-5 day move...

OMNI is the only regularly followed stock here that is still basically at its 52 week low .... most everything is 50% off its bottom; OMNI will soon enough also be 50% off its low - bank on it & be patient...

Petronius, petronius, petronius, petronius, petronius, petronius, petronius....get the message ?

We have a very predictablle emotional let down coming post the OPEC meeting -- bank on it; I am....$
