Give me a break! Comments on this thread are getting a bit crazy. He never promised a split in the runup before earnings, it was all the mo-mo stockholders that wanted a 3-1, or at very least a 2-1. Traders are grownups, many of them have made huge profits on CMGI, and if they want to make huge profits on run-ups based on speculation, they can get kicked in the butt when their expectations are wrong. That's far different than investing in a company because you believe in the long view. When you trade, the responsibility is yours. And the split was cleverly timed and has been good, at least in the last 24 hours, for the price.
