Here's how the Saudis will keep your wife from having any impure thoughts

about say driving a Porshe over to Abu Dhabi.

When you buy or bring your PIII into the country, you will be required to REGISTER IT. Your name and address will be entered into the Riyadh center database along with the CPU-ID. From then on all of your wife's impure thoughts about driving a motor vehicle in Saudi Arabia will be dully chronicled everytime she visits an automobile web site.

Once enough clicks have accumulated, the Saudi secret police will knock on your door and ....

Now you can always claim that you were the one who logged on to those sites. In which case you better hope she only longs for an automobile during the evening hours after you come home from work.

Did that explain it to you?

Big Brother knows all.

<When I buy my new PIII with ID tag J47-89942B on it, how will Saudi Arabia know the Robert Douglas is J47-89942B unless I tell them so?>

Forget it. Mr. Fiondella is desperately crying wolf over and over again, hoping to scare us with Big Brother scenarios.

He has yet to give us one convincing argument which shows that the processor serial number enables dastardly deeds that CANNOT be done right now.
