Absolutely agree. That is one of the most important factors in investing and most people pay little or no attention to it.

I often compare it to something a creative writing teacher taught me, 'good ideas are a dime a dozen, it's execution that counts'. The same holds in business. There are good ideas all over the place, finding management than can bring these ideas to fruition is the key. And good management is always in short supply, particularly in small companies. So often you wind up with management that is effectively going through on the job training. This is a huge problem for BBs. This doesn't make the BBs evil, although some are. But it does make it very important to carefully look at the management structure and experience.
