Good link posted on the Yahoo boards:

quote.bloomberg.com

Talks about a report from the US Senate which cautioned that the Healthcare industry might not be prepared for Y2K, and as such, hospitals and others might not be spending as much on software this year. However, McKesson came out and said they saw no signs of this and that revenue for this quarter would meet expectations.

Let's not forget that Cloverleaf is Y2K compliant, and that HBOC's previously recommended middleware solution was _not_ Y2K compliant. So even if Hospitals and others are focusing on Y2K issues, this does not imply less business for HIE.

Don't deny that it COULD be happening. But I doubt it.
I have spoken to Pres./CEOs of small/mid size firms before. You'd be surprised how willing they are to talk.
Hell, Steve Case and Bill Gates both still answer SOME email........
