When they give him the status that the marketing was so successful that they are in risk of driving away customers (due to system capacity and quality concerns and a customer driven away is one that is probably gone forever.) he will ask for a plan.

CDMA will no doubt figure as an option. I dont know the economics of the AT&T situation but you can be sure Armstrong does and that is what will drive the answer. Needless to say, a public announcement from AT&T for CDMA would be just about the biggest news there could be. (IMO it would tower over any Eric announcement)

Here's to the One Rate plan, may it bring in so many customers that AT&T only has one option - CDMAOne that is.

There will be no CDMA in T's immediate future.

T is fully committed to IS 136HS EDGE at this time.

Robert.

The way you put it, Armstrong ordered up a made-as-instructed report, why not change, rather than survey the market, evaluate the plusses and minuses, make a recommendation.
