scott, i've seen this joker on cnbc before and he is LONG (VERY LONG) CPQ and has no clue about dell...in the interview today he said something like "buy compaq, they are winning as the direct seller of pcs..." woops, he is talking about the wrong company me-thinks! mark haines did a great job of correcting him...first he pointed out that DELL has ALWAYS had a high multiple and done great (best in the decade), then he corrected him by saying that dell is up 13% so far on the year (he had said it was down)...i know you probably heard all of this but others on the thread may not have. dell ironically is suffering in the wake of cpq's eps downgrade by our buddy kumar, and options expiration, both problems being temporary for sure! dell, and dell/ibm are poised for a BIG run IMO. take care, GR
