VRIO - its pulling back a little now... the truth is if I was not in before... I'll just close my eyes and buy and hold for the slow and easy ride. Reality: if you want to get in as low as you can, you have to be a ticker watcher... look at vol slowing and reversal of bid/ask vol... no guaranty but normally that's how you would do it. If it's any other stock you're less bullish on... you have to have a positive reversal of 3/4 to a point off the lows IMO.

Someone asked me that about WEBT and EPAY the day before it pulled back. I can only speak for myself but I never like to jump in at the high range of a gapping stock. In fact that is usually when I sell about 75% of the position and wait for the pullback to bring my position back up to 1k or 2k. At this point I am not selling VRIO simply becasue its a hassle and I have it targeted as an intermediate hold together with BVSN, NTBK, ABOV,WEBT, GNET,DRIV,VRSN. ( I had intended VERT,EPAY,CNET,CMGI as intermediate but the gains were just too much to ignore even for the leftover 200 shares, so I'm starting all over with CMGI and CNET.) I was asked last night about a strategy for CMGI and I thought my strategy of getting into DCLK and BRCM would be the best bet.

I was right on target with DCLK at the beginning of this week but wrong on BRCM, but the beauty of the 'nets is that even if you are down 5 you usually can find yourself up 25 if you persevere hold a small portion even if you get stopped out. Now with DCLK I DID get in after a 14 point gap but there was a lot of psychology there, a lot of stubbornness since I had been stopped out a night prior.. also VRIO did not have the 'news' that DCLK had the day before to drive the stock which was the impetus needed to drive DCLK to higher than just 14 points. VRIO I'm not sure will have that hi-flying charismatic appeal as DCLK.
